National Cadet Corps (NCC)
National Cadet Corps (NCC) is one of the most popular activities among students community. Cadets are enrolled annually to boost the spirit of nationality with the inclination to fostering among them the Quality Character, Courage, Comradeship, Discipline, Risk Taking Adventure, Sportsmanship, Ideals of Selfless Service and Secular Outlook with all added responsibilities of becoming a responsible citizen. Cadets completing NCC, 'C' Certificate Course are offered exemption from written Test of CDS, Indian Military Academy and also few seats are reserved for such students in the universities for P.G Courses. Volunteer who joins NCC has to go through skill training with regular parades, handling of light weapons and other activities of related nature. The NCC cadets as a token of social responsibility donate blood willingly to needy fellow citizens at different occasions.
